Vivacity 3 creates new compact mini-GT scooter category Peugeot has given its popular Vivacity scooter a complete makeover and has created a brand new category of bike in the process: the compact mini-GT.
Peugeots designers were keen to repeat the success of the original Vivacity, having sold several hundred thousand in under 10 years, and so researched consumer needs and market trends in order to create a contemporary scooter. It was clear that riders expectations in respect of urban scooters focused principally around three points: (1) Storage capacity, (2) Design and (3) Value.
Equipped with this knowledge, Peugeot developed the Vivacity 3, combining many of the design features of a GT maxi-scooter with the size and price of an entry-level machine.
So the Vivacity 3 boasts a stylish new look and higher specification than its predecessor but with an even lower price, (now £1249 compared to £1,449).
Storage
The Vivacity 3 boasts the largest usable storage capacity in its category, thanks to the 13-litre capacity Jet-in compartment, located at the front, supplementing the 22-litre under-seat compartment.
Design
Its not just its original looks, inspired by ultra-contemporary urban design, that make the Vivacity 3 stand out. It is crammed with practical features, such as an 8.5-litre (1.9 gallons) fuel tank, providing a range of up to 250km (155 miles). The tank is situated under the floor pan to lower the centre of gravity and enhance handling and the low seat height (786mm) will also aid rider confidence. The blue backlit instrument panel includes a clock and external temperature gauge and there is even a 12V socket to charge up accessories while on the move.

Sum Up: the scooter that cuts straight to the chase
The Sum Up is a brand new 125cc scooter from Peugeot that cuts straight to the chase in terms of form, function and value. With its twin halogen headlights, alloy wheels and sport profile tyres, from the front the Sum Up is reminiscent of Peugeots iconic Speedfight scooter.
However this scooter is big on comfort and practicality as well as looks. The broad two-person seat and flat floor pan provide space and comfort for both rider and passenger, while the wide bodywork at the front gives protection from the elements. A generous underseat storage bay and robust metal carry rack boost luggage capacity. Equipped with 13 wheels, this 125cc air-cooled scooter offers an excellent balance between stability and manoeuvrability and at 115 KG it is one of the lighter scooters in its class. It is fitted with both electric and kick start as standard as well as side and centre stand, making parking and starting as easy as possible. The air-cooled 4-stroke engine is frugal and reliable and meets the tough new Euro 3 pollution standards. The 220mm front disc brake delivers dependable stopping power.
The Peugeot Sum Up 125 is the sum of looks and practicality in a package that may even be ridden on L-plates. It is available in the UK in a choice of Night Blue/Metallic Silver and Pearl Black/Metallic Silver.

´The worlds first supercharged scooter!´
Its like nothing else! The compressor combines stunning good looks, excellent handling and superb servo assisted, ABS brakes. The supercharged motor provides unprecedented ´oomph´ in learner-legal 125 (14.6hp) and in (easily) de-restricted (19hp) goes like a 250. The twin-spar all alloy frame ´Direct Perimetric Frame´ (DPF) is light but very strong and carries all the loads in the optimum way. The four halogen headlights are both striking and effective and the aerodynamic bodywork provides more protection than most sports scooters. The seat is also pleasantly supportive and pops open automatically with the turn of a key in the ignition.
